Code of Ethics and Practice Standards

Carolina Development and Realty, LLC ("we", "us", "our") believes real estate investing can be conducted profitably AND ethically while providing real value and solutions to sellers. We have adopted the following Practice Standards and Code of Ethics: 

Practice Standard 1: During our discussions, we will always make clear to Sellers that we are in business to make a profit, and their offer will likely be LOWER than market value. 

 
Practice Standard 2: We will never represent to a Seller that we are providing real estate advice. We advise Sellers to seek professional advice before agreeing to enter any contract. 

Practice Standard 3: We will make clear that the offer is not an appraisal or CMA.

Practice Standard 4: We will not complete any transaction with any Seller who does not understand the process. 

Practice Standard 5: We will provide the above disclosures in writing, in advance, and will give the Seller ample time to review. 

Practice Standard 6: ALL contractual terms must be clearly explained to Seller, and understood by Seller, before entering into a contract. 

Practice Standard 7: All Earnest Money Deposits will be handled in cooperation with local standards of practice. 

 
Practice Standard 8: We will handle all Seller and transaction information with the highest levels of confidentialty.
